SILENCE (POEM) They say there’s no such thing, as true silence. Your brain is always active, the neural paths always at work… But every now and then, it all goes quiet. Nothing seems to stand out, nothing seems to be thought. There’s ringing in your ears, and you become aware of it. And for a moment, can’t help but wonder, ‘Has the ringing always been there, or am I hearing it now because the silence is so deafening…’ Then it hits you, the ringing’s stopped. So what’s hiding in the silence… why is the quiet so unwelcoming? Comfort in the ringing, Fear in the Sile

This is the age of enlightenment, for the broken hearted. Who learn by the bruises on their fragile smiles, those broken and bruised lips now… Split by the lies of ever afters never allowed to be. This is the age of enlightenment, for the broken hearted. Who cry over the cruelty of their own dreams, taunting, tormenting them, with all they are not. And all they could not be. The girl behind the broken mask, tears down her face make-up staining it's place.                       She's discovered.... finally discovered,                   her place. Disposable as I am,            I've not left a trace. ~YCJ~

What happens when... you feel like running away? Like rain is all that matters, even if you don't stay? When raindrops wash away, All the teardrops on her face. But there's no smile to take it's place? ~YCJ~
